- The European Blue Flag for the quality of the sea-water
Pesaro has earned since 2005 the high-prestige European Blue Flag for the long stretch of beach from east to west, awarded to the most environmentally virtuous places.
Pesaro received for many consecutive years the highly-prized Flag awarded by FEE, Foundation for Environmental Education, for the quality of the sea-water and the coast, for the services it offers, for safety measures and for environmental education.
